Overview:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant to seniors in their homes. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide administrative support including:

Daily Money Management

  • Open mail, prepare checks for signature, review and reconcile bank statements and credit card statements, filing
  • Inventory the client's files and prepare a personal inventory
  • Collect and organize relative tax documents to send to the client’s accountant
  • Review medical bills and insurance statements to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement

Calendar

  • Arrange appointments, update the calendar and provide reminders for action items

Work Collaboratively with the Client's Team

  • Family members
  • Professional team (financial advisor, attorney, accountant, care manager)
  • Connect clients to resources and offer solutions to problems

Home Organization

  • Schedule and manage contractors for home maintenance
  • Identify home maintenance projects required to maintain the safety and value of the home

Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • Attention to how the details affect the big picture
  • Compassionate and a good listener
  • Excellent customer service
  • Experience with older adults preferred

This is not just a job, but an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. The position is full-time, and compensation is hourly based. Travel to clients is required each day. Mileage is reimbursed. The territory covers the Main Line Philadelphia and surrounding area.
