Landscape Working Supervisor

King’s Landscaping is seeking a hands-on Landscape Working Supervisor to lead our field crew while actively participating in daily installations and maintenance. This position requires a professional who can balance crew leadership, quality control, heavy equipment operation, and direct physical labor on job sites.

Job Details

· Job Title: Landscape Working Supervisor (Skid steer / Excavator Operator)

· Location: Chesterfield, VA

· Job Type: Full-Time (with opportunities of overtime)

· Work schedule: Monday-Friday

· Compensation: Starting at $25 (Depending on experience)

Core Responsibilities

· Field Leadership: Direct daily operations of a 2–6 person crew, assigning tasks and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

· Equipment Operation: Safely operate skid steers and excavators to efficiently spread, level and move topsoil and rock.

· Specialized Grading: Execute precise fine grading to prepare surfaces for sod, seed or hardscapes and regrade swales and ditches to establish correct water flow and erosion control.

· Equipment care: Preform daily pre-trip inspections, check fluids and report mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Experience: Must have proven experience operating skid steers and excavators in a construction or landscaping environment.

· Technical Skills: Knowledge of fine grading, regrading swales and ditches and spreading rock.

· Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Physical Strength: Able to lift 50- 80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Bilingual skills: English/Spanish are highly desired to help facilitate clear communication with our diverse crew.
