Resident Service and Eligibility Specialist
Summary
Provide resident outreach, case management, assessments, and referrals to support housing stability, self-sufficiency, health, and independence. Assist residents in public housingand low-income/tax credit housing by connecting them with social services, community resources, and supportive programs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct resident outreach, intake, household assessments, and case management.
Identify resident needs and barriers and develop service plans and appropriate referrals.
Connect residents with social services, Section 8/housing programs, food assistance, healthcare, employment, education, financial assistance, and other community resources.
Maintain relationships with residents and serve as a resource and liaison between residents, property management, and community service providers.
Promote resident programs through phone calls, email, newsletters, meetings, and door-to-door outreach.
Coordinate workshops, food distributions, health and wellness events, employment activities, and community programs.
Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local housing and social service programs.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in case management, social services, resident services, or a related field.
1 year College coursework in social work, public administration, business, communications, or a related field preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Valid Class C Driver’s License.
