Administrative Director

Position Summary

The Administrative Director oversees the day-to-day administrative operations of Delaware Valley Dance Academy, including registration, scheduling, and production support. This role serves as a key operational partner to the Studio Director, ensuring the studio runs smoothly across enrollment cycles, staffing, events, and performances.

Registration & Enrollment Management

• Manage the registration process through the Jack Rabbit studio management system

• Oversee regular session and summer class registration

• Manage and maintain the private instruction schedule

• Maintain the overall class schedule

Marketing & Events

• Develop brochure mockups

• Organize registration-related events, including Autumn Fest and Open Houses

• Plan and support studio fundraisers

Productions

• Coordinate and support the Artistic Director on theatrical productions

• Serve as liaison with performance/rehearsal venue partners

• Maintain and update program data

• Recruit, schedule, and manage volunteers

• Support school performances through marketing, coordination, and day-of performance

• Set up and maintain ticketing platform

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates for this role should demonstrate:

• Prior administrative and operations experience required

• Theatrical production experience a plus

• Strong computer/internet proficiency

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe applications, and Google Docs

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, approachable personality

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• A friendly and personable demeanor

• Problem solver

Delaware Valley Dance Academy offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere. We are conveniently located near Souderton, Hatfield, Montgomeryville, Lansdale, and Chalfont. Our dance classes are designed to take students from their first introduction to dance to a full and varied course of dance training. An emphasis will be placed on proper body placement and line.
