True North Tax Advisory Group is a growing tax and advisory firm serving individuals, families, and businesses. We are looking for a friendly, professional, dependable, and organized Receptionist / Client Services Representative to join our team at either our Parrish or Lakewood Ranch office.
This is much more than a traditional receptionist position. You will often be the first person a client speaks with or meets when they contact True North, making you an important part of the client experience and our team.

What You'll Do
As a Receptionist / Client Services Representative, you will help create a welcoming and professional experience for our clients while providing administrative support to our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Answering and appropriately routing incoming telephone calls
- Monitoring and responding to voicemail messages
- Assisting clients with general questions and directing them to the appropriate team member
- Scheduling and coordinating client appointments
- Receiving, organizing, scanning, uploading, and routing client documents
- Communicating with clients by telephone, email, and in person
- Maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation
- Keeping the reception area and client-facing areas professional and welcoming
- Assisting with general administrative and office tasks
- Supporting other team members when needed
- Protecting client confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Learning and using company software, communication systems, and technology

Qualifications
Required:
- Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, or office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn new technology and software
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Microsoft Office experience
- Google Workspace experience
- Experience with web-based/cloud-based business telephone system
- Slack or similar business communication platforms
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
- Previous experience in a professional services office
Tax or accounting experience is not required. We can teach you our systems and processes. We are most interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and commitment to excellent client service.
What We Offer
$18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule & Location
Location: Parrish or Lakewood Ranch, Florida
This is an onsite, full-time position. The position may be assigned to either our Parrish or Lakewood Ranch office, and the work location may rotate between the two offices based on the company's operational needs.
Candidates should be comfortable working at either location and understand that their regular schedule may include time at both offices.
Specific scheduling and office assignments will be communicated by management based on business needs.
