Job description: Customer Service Representative

Location: Lake Forest, CA 92630 (In person) Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $22.00–$23.00 per hour

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused representative to join our team. You'll be the primary point of contact for borrowers regarding their mortgage servicing needs — handling account inquiries, payment questions, and documentation with accuracy, empathy, and a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1–3 years of customer service experience
• History of meeting or exceeding performance metrics
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to different personalities and situations
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong negotiation and persuasive problem-solving skills
• Fluency in Spanish preferred, to support our Spanish-speaking borrowers
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Contact borrowers via phone and/or email regarding mortgage servicing of their loan
• Review and process insurance correspondence received in the office
• Manage work across multiple queues, meeting specified turnaround and quality requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policy throughout the collections process
• Validate loan documentation to ensure the highest level of accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service on every borrower interaction
• Meet or exceed department goals and metrics
• Support other servicing-related duties as needed
