Senior Accountant Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of our accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. Working closely with leadership, you will manage the full accounting cycle and maintain our financial systems in QuickBooks Desktop. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys driving financial accuracy and supporting business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll processing.
• Lead and complete the monthly close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow).
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and assist leadership with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with our external CPA firm for tax filings and year-end reporting.
• Maintain robust internal controls and accurate accounting records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Software: Proven, hands-on experience using QuickBooks Desktop (Required).
• Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle accounting and month-end close experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and advanced Excel skills
