Shipping Specialist (Ground / Freight)

Logistics / Shipping Specialist (This is an Office role)

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with clear communication skills. This individual will interact with our customers, sales representatives, inside / outside customers as well as Freight Lines / FedEx and UPS.

Responsibilities include:

· Telephone interaction with internal / external customers, sales representatives and carrier lines.

· Provide shipping quotes

· Schedule pick-ups

· Answer ETA questions for deliveries

· Communicate information regarding pick-ups, credits, re-shipments, etc.

· Research and identify products and services.

· Calculate freight charges and give tracking updates (new order, lost, damaged, etc.)

· Contest improper fees on shipping invoices

Requires:

· HS Diploma

· Experience with Logistics

· Excellent communication skills

· Customer-driven attitude

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00/hour
