Position: In-Shop Service Technician

We are looking for a motivated and dependable In-Shop Service Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing trailers, equipment, and related products in our shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and trailer-related issues.
• Install and repair brakes, axles, lights, wiring, suspension components, and other trailer systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication when needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and determine necessary repairs.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly document work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with the service manager and customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or service experience preferred.
• Trailer, automotive, heavy equipment, or agricultural equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
• Must have your own basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
