Experienced HVAC Service Technician (Commercial & Residential)

About the Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Ogden, UT. Because we service a heavy volume of residential homes, commercial buildings, and apartment complexes, we are strictly looking for a seasoned professional. We need a turnkey technician who can jump right into a truck, diagnose a problem accurately, and get the job done right the first time without needing to be micro-managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Installations: Assist with or lead the installation of new HVAC equipment when necessary.
• Customer Communication: Clearly and professionally explain mechanical issues and repair options to homeowners and property managers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service calls, parts used, and labor performed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and repair. (We are looking for an experienced tech, not an apprentice).
• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; additional HVAC certifications or trade school degrees are a huge plus.
• Problem Solver: Highly capable of independent troubleshooting and critical thinking in the field.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
