Dental Assistant

Pearl Family Dental is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is confident working in a busy clinical environment, communicates well with patients and coworkers, and can provide efficient chairside support to the dentist.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Dental Assistant experience in a clinical dental setting required
• Experience assisting with restorative and surgical procedures
• Comfortable taking digital dental X-rays
• Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and instrument organization
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures, including:
• • Restorative dentistry
  • Surgical procedures
  • Cosmetic dentistry
  • Hygiene-related treatments
• Take high-quality dental X-rays and ensure proper documentation in patient charts
• Set up and break down treatment rooms
• Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Review and update patient health histories
• Help keep patients comfortable throughout their visits
• Provide post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment
