Congress Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role supports a variety of commercial projects and offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general carpentry tasks including framing, blocking, trim, and finish work
  • Perform job site setup, cleanup, and material handling
  • Support skilled trades and project teams as needed
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow direction from site supervisors and adhere to project schedules
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of carpentry experience
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read plans is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, customer driven environment
  • Must possess superior organizational skills
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a good driving record.
