Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our client. This position involves supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling. This role ensures materials are accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify materials for accuracy and quality against purchase orders
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment to jobs or customer locations
  • Organize, store, and maintain inventory to ensure materials are accessible and properly labeled
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling tools safely
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and securing materials for transport
  • Process returned materials and restock inventory appropriately
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
  • Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Report inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, or equipment concerns to management
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic inventory and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer- and results-oriented mindset
  • Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred (training may be provided)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the workday (up to 10 hours)
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required
  • Must have sufficient vision and hearing to work safely in a warehouse environment
  • Work performed primarily in an outdoor warehouse/storage environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Communication skills.
