We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and clinical-minded Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview
  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 07:30-17:00

  • Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in both clinical and administrative operations, ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and patients receive top-tier care.

Clinical Duties:

  • Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare them for the physician.

  • Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight).

  • Review and document patient medical history, current medications, and chief complaints in the EMR system.

  • Assist physicians during examinations, minor surgical procedures, and treatments.

  • Administer injections, perform blood draws (phlebotomy), and run basic in-office lab tests (e.g., urinalysis, rapid strep).

  • Sanitize and stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals to specialists.

  • Manage patient charts, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant with HIPAA regulations.

  • Answer clinic phone calls, address patient inquiries, and relay messages to physicians.

  • Assist with prior authorizations and prescription refills as directed by providers.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is highly preferred.

  • Experience: 1-2 years preferred but not required.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.

  • Basic Life Support: Current BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of empathy for patient care.
