Location: Catoosa
Janitor Pay Rate and Hours:
- $15/hr
- Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production facility. This position focuses on routine cleaning throughout the shop and removing glass debris, production waste, dust, and other materials generated during daily operations.
Janitor Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep and clean production floors throughout the plant.
- Remove broken glass, glass scraps, and production debris from designated areas.
- Clean underneath and around production machinery and equipment.
- Sweep dust and debris from walls, beams, and other elevated areas using extendable brooms and cleaning tools.
- Empty trash and production waste containers as needed.
- Keep aisles, walkways, work areas, and storage areas clean and free of debris.
- Perform scheduled deep-cleaning of designated areas of the plant.
- Properly dispose of glass and other production waste.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other general plant cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed.
Janitor Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, sweep, lift and carry cleaning materials, and work safely around manufacturing equipment and glass.
