LEGACY CENTER HEAD LIFEGUARDCLOSING DATE: Open until FilledPAY RANGE: $14.90 - $17.88 per hour depending on experience.SCHEDULE: Various Shifts: Monday thru Saturday - 4:30 am to 11 pmWe are currently looking for those who have the most availability 4:45 am to 9 am: Monday - Friday.DEPARTMENT: RecreationJOB SUMMARYPerforms a variety of advanced poolside and water safety duties.Monitor water activities to ensure safety. Provide close supervision of all lifeguards including training, supervision, and evaluations. Direct and perform general upkeep and custodial duties and other duties as assigned by aquatics managers. Works under the general supervision of the Legacy Center Supervisor over aquatics and/or Aquatics Managers.RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSGraduation from high school. 2 years of aquatics experience. Current Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent. Knowledge of rules and regulations of the aquatic facility. Leadership skills. Available to work Mon - Sat: 4:30 am - 11pm. (We are currently looking for those who have the most availability 4:45 am - 9 am: M-F.) Able to pass a background check and drug test.Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
