QuickPro Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Repack Packer for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. This is a 2nd shift position responsible for final quality inspection and packaging of parts prior to shipment.
Job Summary
The Repack Packer serves as the last step in the production process. After parts come off the machine, you will be responsible for ensuring they meet quality standards, properly repackaging them, and preparing them for shipping.
This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent movement throughout the shift, including bending, stretching, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final quality checks on manufactured parts
- Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies
- Repack parts according to company and customer specifications
- Label and prepare finished goods for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures
- Communicate any quality issues to supervisors or leads
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching
- Must be able to lift and move materials as required throughout shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to perform physical labor consistently throughout shift
