Location: The Bronx, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: $22 - $23 per hour

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, professional, and service-focused Concierge to join our team. This role is ideal for a personable self-starter who enjoys helping others and creating a welcoming experience for residents, families, and visitors.

As the first point of contact for many guests, the Concierge plays an essential role in supporting resident satisfaction, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring concerns are addressed with care and urgency.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome residents, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Conduct regular rounds throughout the facility to identify resident and family concerns.

  • Introduce yourself to new admissions and their families within 24 hours of admission.

  • Perform follow-up calls with new admissions and primary contacts.

  • Assist residents and families with questions regarding services, schedules, and facility resources.

  • Escalate clinical concerns promptly to the appropriate nursing staff.

  • Investigate, document, and follow up on resident and family concerns.

  • Partner with department leaders to ensure timely resolution of complaints.

  • Confirm resolution with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

  • Maintain service recovery logs and track trends for Quality Assurance meetings.

  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, housekeeping, and administration.

  • Ensure concerns are communicated quickly to the appropriate departments.

  • Participate in daily morning meetings and provide updates regarding resident satisfaction and outstanding concerns.

  • Welcome new admissions upon arrival and assist with a smooth transition.

  • Orient residents and families to the facility.

  • Ensure admission packets and welcome materials are provided.

  • Coordinate with Admissions, Nursing, and Social Services teams.

  • Answer phones and greet visitors professionally.

  • Assist visitors with locating residents or staff.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

  • Represent the facility positively at all times.

Qualifications
  • Customer service or hospitality/service industry experience required.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

  • Must be personable, organized, and a self-starter.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
