Hybrid 3 days onsite in either Charlotte, NC or Charlotte, NC
Our client seeks a Program Manager to lead lighting initiatives and training programs. The role provides strategic input for current and future program development, plans and monitors program activities, manages resources and costs, and ensures delivery on time and within budget. The Program Manager will engage leaders and subject matter experts, lead the ADDIE process for training, track progress, adjust plans, and communicate status, recommendations, and deliverables across the organization.

Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Serve as subject matter expert and manager for lighting training programs, including initial, continuing, and emergent curricula.
- Manage program costs and estimate impacts of changes.
- Engage business unit leaders to establish strategies and incorporate priorities into programs.
- Lead the ADDIE process to implement lighting training initiatives.
- Engage SMEs and leaders to establish strategic direction and training initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends affecting lighting initiatives and determine impacts to required skills.
- Create solutions to reconcile lighting training discrepancies.
- Identify strategic cost improvement opportunities.
- Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing.
- Inform and direct stakeholders regarding lighting activities.
- Six years of related work experience with a bachelor’s or technical degree, or ten years of related work experience with a high school diploma or GED.
- Training methodologies knowledge.
- Oral and written communication and presentation skills to all levels.
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate issues, develop conclusions, and recommend actions.
- Project management skills to develop innovative ideas for complex training problems.
- Group process skills to facilitate group activities.
- Leadership abilities to influence, direct team members, and advise management on performance and status.
- Change management and influencing skills.
- Prior training delivery, development, and project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree required, or high school diploma/GED with additional experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
