We're partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Oregon to hire an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a full-time, day-shift role. This opportunity is ideal for an APP who thrives in a collaborative environment, brings strong oncology fundamentals, and is passionate about delivering evidence-based, compassionate care.

What you'll do

As a member of the clinical patient care team, you'll perform tasks and procedures consistent with your training and licensure, including:

  • Providing direct oncology care in collaboration with physicians and the broader care team
  • Delivering consistent, compassionate, evidence-based care with a strong focus on patient experience
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with patients, families, and referring physicians
  • Managing priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting with changing clinical needs
  • Documenting and navigating workflows in the EMR (EPIC) and using standard office/clinical software tools

Credentials/licensure

  • Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges (credentialing/privileging required)
  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an Oregon license
  • AONCP certification required by time of hire
Preferred experience
  • Experience as an oncology-certified NP in inpatient and/or outpatient settings preferred
Physical/clinical requirements (role demands)

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
  • Maintain adequate hearing and visual acuity (including color vision)
  • Use fine motor skills and strong eye-hand coordination
  • Assist patients with mobility/transfer using safe body mechanics
  • Follow standard precautions due to possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking in person and by phone)
