About the Role

As a Part-Time Housekeeper, you will help maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other areas throughout the facility. Your work is essential to creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone at Ridge Valley.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas

• Sweep, dust mop, mop, and vacuum floors

• Empty and remove trash according to facility procedures

• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines

• Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and in good working condition

• Properly use and store cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies

• Monitor cleaning and supply needs and notify the supervisor when supplies are low

• Maintain accurate logs of completed cleaning assignments

• Report damaged equipment, mechanical issues, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor

• Report any concerns regarding resident conditions to the appropriate supervisor

• Follow all facility safety and infection-control procedures

• Work cooperatively with other departments to maintain a clean and comfortable environment

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable and reliable

• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude

• Ability to work weekends as needed

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and perform physical housekeeping duties for extended periods
