Poké2 Grill in Downey + Long Beach + Garden Grove, CA is looking for RESPONSIBLE, outgoing, positive, and energetic people to join our FOH & BOH team. Poké2 Grill serves our awesome, loyal customers the freshest Hawaiian/Asian fusion “Poké” in L.A. Our establishment is a quick-service restaurant, and our build-your-own-bowl (a.k.a. BYOB)-(Subway/Chipotle style)- is the best in town, earning us the "Best Restaurant in Downey" award seven consecutive years (2019-2025).

Available FOH Positions: Server/Runner -> Poké2 Crew -> Poké Master -> the Clo$er -> Shift Lead -> *Superviser -> *Assistant Manager

Available BOH Positions: Prep/Line Cook -> Kitchen Manager

Part-time/Full-time: (10 – 40+ Hrs/week) with the opportunity to move up the ladder to Shift Lead and Manager.

Location #2: 4150 McGowen St. #11, Long Beach, CA 90808

Location #3: 9832 W. Chapman Ave., Garden Grove, CA 92841

We are looking for someone who can work morning/day (opening/lunch) + day/night (closing/dinner) shifts during the week. Open availability preferred. *Must be available on weekends.

Managerial Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
• Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
• Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
• Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
• Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
• Inventory/Supply purchase runs when necessary

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and listening skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess a friendly, positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Restaurant/Serving Experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation: Applicants for Manager positions must have a car for potential inventory purchasing responsibilities. 1+ years of managerial experience preferred, but not required. Happy to train and grow with the right candidate(s).
