A growing skilled nursing and rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced Ast to the Business Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of one of our facilities. ResponsibilitiesAssist in Overseeing the daily operations of the Business Office.
Manage resident trust accounts and petty cash.
Coordinate private pay billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate financial records.
Work closely with Admissions, Social Services, Nursing, and Corporate Billing to ensure accurate resident financial information.
Assist residents and families with billing questions and financial matters.
Process Medicaid applications and redeterminations as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of resident financial information.
Prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end processes.
Support audits and regulatory surveys.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of Business Office experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay billing.
Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and resident trust funds.
Strong understanding of long-term care reimbursement.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare systems.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.

High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or other long-term care software.
Previous supervisory or management experience.

Knowledge of Pennsylvania Medicaid processes (if applicable).
