Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Complete accurate service records and maintenance documentation
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs
- Collaborate with service team members to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel technician
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Own a personal set of professional hand tools
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
