Industrial Painter

Snelling is searching for an exceptional Production/Automotive Painter for a well-established company in the Trussville, AL area. The pay rate for this position is $20.00-27.00/hr plus 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities –

Responsible for accepting only parts that are properly prepared for paint

Responsible for manually moving parts through the painting, flashing, and drying sections of the paint system

Responsible for the entire paint process including but not limited to:

Responsible for having maintenance of all paint system equipment accomplished as specified, whether scheduled with the Maintenance Department or as part of the paint work process

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint system and work area

Assist as needed in all areas of the paint line operation

Follow the policies as outlined in the G.R. Manufacturing, Inc. Employee Handbook

Skills and Attributes –

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to perform strenuous repetitive work

Ability to work while wearing respirator and protective clothing

Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit test

Should possess an attention to detail and desire to produce high quality parts

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Self-starter

Experience Requirements –

High School Diploma or GED

Vocational training in industrial/automotive painting or 1 year experience in this field
