Arlington Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team in Macon, GA. The Business Office Manager plays an important role in supporting the community's day-to-day administrative and financial operations while providing excellent service to residents, families, and staff.

Position Summary

The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the community's business office functions, including resident accounts, billing, collections, payroll support, accounts payable/receivable, employee records, and general administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or similar administrative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the business office.

  • Maintain accurate resident financial records and account information.

  • Assist with resident billing, payments, collections, and account inquiries.

  • Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee timekeeping as needed.

  • Maintain confidential employee and resident files and documentation.

  • Assist residents and families with billing and financial questions in a professional and compassionate manner.

  • Prepare reports and documentation for management as requested.

  • Coordinate with corporate and community leadership regarding financial and administrative matters.

  • Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collection efforts.

  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other department leaders.

  • Ensure business office procedures are followed consistently and accurately.

  • Protect confidential resident, employee, and financial information.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Business Office Manager, Business Office Coordinator, Office Manager, Billing Specialist, or similar administrative role preferred.

  • Healthcare, senior living, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

  • Previous experience with billing, payroll, accounts receivable, or accounts payable is preferred.
