Ridge Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure our residents have clean, fresh clothing and linens while maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable environment.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Laundry Aide, you will be responsible for processing resident clothing and facility linens with care and attention to detail. Your work helps ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens

• Properly identify, mark, and label residents’ personal clothing

• Ensure clean clothing and linens are returned to the appropriate residents and departments

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens throughout the facility

• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary

• Monitor linen inventory and communicate supply needs

• Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures

• Work cooperatively with nursing and other departments to meet daily laundry needs

• Handle residents’ personal belongings with care and respect

What We’re Looking For

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred

• Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift as required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around laundry equipment and cleaning products
