Maintenance Planner

The Kelly Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner for work based out of its Lafayette, Indiana, location.This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:Manage the SAP work order backlog using standard status codesEnsure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresDaily management to maintain 2- to 4-week complete 'ready' backlog that is in alignment with production needsPlan maintenance jobs for assigned plant areas including all details needed to schedule and execute each job — procedures, labor, time, parts, tools, access, permitting, etc.Partner closely with maintenance supervisors for assigned areas each day to maintain proper priority for planning workflowIncorporate feedback on completed planned jobs from maintenance supervisors, reliability team, mechanics, maintenance storage, operations and skilled crafts to create a continuous improvement loop for job plans and planning proceduresBuild and maintain database of job plansProvide daily communications with a wide range of plant personnelProvide labor and costs estimatesEstablish a prioritizing partnership with the operations maintenance coordinatorOther preferred qualifications sought include:Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology-related field5 to 8 years of related professional experience in a heavy industrial environment working with mechanical maintenance or engineering teamsExperience using CMMS for maintenance planning, scheduling and executionFamiliarity with SAP maintenance systemThe Kelly Group offers a complete benefits package, including:Comprehensive group medical, Rx, dental and vision coverageHealth care and dependent care pre-tax flexible spending account optionsPaid life/AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability401(k) retirement plan option with employer matchPaid time off and paid vacationPaid holidaysEEO STATEMENTThe Kelly Group is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law.
