Superintendent

Bartek Construction Co., a San Antonio underground utility construction company, is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent/Project Manager. Bartek offers a competitive compensation package, including paid employee healthcare, short and long term disability, a $25,000 life insurance policy, company vehicle, competitive base pay, and a bonus program.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Oversee entire construction process from mobilization to close out.Maintain project schedule and coordinate department personnel and equipment accordingly.Monitor construction projects and ensure a successful and timely completion.Communicate details of the project to appropriate individuals, both with Bartek management, GC and Owner representatives as needed.Attend all production meetings.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Maintain administrative aspects of job, including marked prints, daily production reports, etc.Report and maintain reports for change order submission, if appropriate.Assist estimators in the bidding process.Qualifications:Must demonstrate a sound understanding of underground utility installation and supervision of construction operations.Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of underground utility construction practices and methods.Must have experience with underground utility projects ranging from $250K to $2M range.Must have experience handling multiple jobs at the same time.Degree a plus, but not required with appropriate experience.Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.Basic Computer Skills.Osha 10 and First Aid/CPR training are a plus.
