Facility Custodian

Perform janitorial and cleaning duties throughout our manufacturing plant and general facilities. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment for all employees.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in plant and facility areas
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly
• Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
• Change filters as needed throughout facility
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required
• Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Support cleanliness in production areas, including wiping down equipment and surfaces (non-technical)

Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

· Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety

· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks

· Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures

· Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
