Traffic Control Services & Equipment (TCS&E) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow our Houston operations. This is an opportunity to build a business—not just manage one.

The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, customer relationships, field personnel, scheduling, equipment utilization, estimating support, and profitability while helping expand TCS&E throughout Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations.
  • Manage Crew Leads, Supervisors, and field personnel.
  • Coordinate scheduling, manpower, and equipment deployment.
  • Build relationships with contractors, utilities, municipalities, and industrial customers.
  • Review project profitability and labor efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with TxDOT, OSHA, MUTCD, and company safety standards.
  • Assist with estimating, project planning, and resource allocation.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Help grow the Texas operation through outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in traffic control, roadway construction, utilities, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience managing employees, schedules, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of traffic control operations and work zone safety.
  • Experience with estimating, project management, or operations management is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
