Job Description
A day in the life

In Saint Paul, MN, your morning starts with a safety check and a quick huddle with teammates. You review the service queue, pull the first trailer into the bay, and dive into diagnostics—maybe it's a brake imbalance, a wiring fault in the lighting harness, or a suspension component that needs attention. Midday brings a compliance inspection, accurate documentation of the work you completed, and a call-out to a teammate to collaborate on a tricky hydraulic issue. You wrap up by updating maintenance records, reviewing parts needs, and sharing ideas to improve the workflow for tomorrow.

What you'll take on
  • Execute scheduled service and corrective repairs on semi trailers—brakes, suspension, electrical, and related systems.
  • Pinpoint mechanical issues using diagnostics and hands-on troubleshooting to restore peak performance.
  • Conduct safety and compliance inspections, recommending repairs or part replacements when needed.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities with accuracy and clarity.
  • Partner with fellow technicians to refine processes and elevate the quality of service.
  • Keep current with industry trends and best practices in semi trailer care.
What makes you a match
  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in automotive or diesel technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing semi trailers or comparable equipment.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Confidence reading and applying technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong diagnostic mindset with sharp attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in a team-focused shop.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
