Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Production Associate to support the production of high-quality products while meeting safety, quality, and on-time delivery requirements. This position performs routine packaging activities under regular supervision and reports to the Supervisor, Packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily work schedules, job specifications, and required materials
- Perform hand collating, final assembly, kit building, and other packaging activities
- Place materials in the correct sequence and ensure packaging accuracy
- Inspect products for quality defects and report issues to the line lead
- Pack completed products onto pallets, in cartons, or onto carts
- Operate basic packaging equipment such as shrink wrappers and cartoners under supervision
- Stage materials and assist with preparing jobs for upcoming production runs
- Record time and material usage accurately in the MIS system
- Follow all safety, housekeeping, quality, security, ISO, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work effectively with the packaging team to meet production and customer requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required; manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer/MIS skills
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the scheduled shift
- Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 60 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently
