Forklift/General Production Location: Chase, MI Pay: $16.00 to $22.00 DOE per hour Shift: 1st Shift Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a General Yard/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Chase, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to assist in the yard using heavy equipment and moving scrap metal. What You'll Be Doing As a General Yard/Heavy Equipment Operator, your core responsibilities will include: Heavy Equipment Operation: Helping out in the yard using heavy equipment (forklift trucks, loaders, etc.) to move scrap metal. Material Handling: Moving scrap metal and potentially other materials within the yard. In addition, you will also be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be a quick learner. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: Experience with heavy equipment (forklift trucks, loaders, etc.) Knowledge of using scales Ability to multi-task Able to work in all weather conditions Skills: Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills to interact with colleagues and potentially clients. Learning Agility: Quick learner to adapt to new tasks and equipment. Material Knowledge: Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials preferred but not required. Why Join Us?
