We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Transportation Aide to join our team at Evercare of Granite City, a leading provider of senior living services in Granite City, IL. As a Transportation Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents to various appointments and activities.
About the Role:
Transportation Aide will be responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments, medical treatments, and social events in a safe and timely manner.
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and staff, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care and customer satisfaction.
Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and family members to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services.
Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, routes, and resident information.
Responsibilities:
• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, medical treatments, and social events, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance with resident mobility and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized transportation fleet, ensuring that vehicles are well-maintained and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and trust.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for transportation services during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:
Must be currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for business use.
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
