Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for patients, including modified diets as necessary
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
Work closely with the dietary team to ensure accurate and timely meal service
Develop and implement creative and healthy menu options to enhance patient satisfaction and nutrition
Collaborate with the healthcare team to address any patient-specific dietary needs or concerns
Maintain accurate records and reports related to food service and patient nutrition
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dietary services
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
