Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Panel Builder for our client. This job will be responsible for assembling and wiring custom electrical control panels used in manufacturing applications. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently from blueprints and schematics.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently from blueprints and schematics.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Assemble and wire custom electrical control panels from start to finish
- Install electrical components by design specifications
- Perform functional testing of completed units to verify proper operation
- Maintain a clean, organized work area always
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Work overtime as needed to meet production requirements
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- 5–10 years of prior control panel building or electrical wireman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical control components and panel assembly/fabrication techniques
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials
- Must supply own hand tools: screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, micrometers, and gauges
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work hard in a team environment
- Positive attitude — no drama; team players only
- Experience with UL 508A panel building standards
- Familiarity with PLC panels or industrial automation control systems
- Experience reading AutoCAD or SolidWorks electrical drawings
- Ability to move or lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills
