Sr. Project Manager

Butterfly Staffing is partnering with a leading federal general contractor to identify an experienced Senior Project Manager for a newly awarded federal construction project in Southern Maryland.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven construction leader who enjoys managing complex federal projects, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing project teams from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and daily project operations.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation.
• Lead project safety and quality initiatives while maintaining compliance with contract requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government representatives, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reporting to leadership.
• Mentor and support Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial or federal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, budgeting, field supervision, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead project teams while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
