What You'll Do
Design and deliver an engaging curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, all while adhering to the New York State's Next Generation Learning Standards.
Build a vibrant and supportive classroom community where every child feels safe, respected, and excited to learn.
Implement data-driven instruction using insights from various educational software to personalize learning and foster student growth.
Utilize your expertise in the Science of Reading to develop foundational literacy skills.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to create a seamless and enriching educational experience for everyone.
Create a dynamic learning environment by using differentiated instruction across all subject areas to meet the unique needs of each student.
Observe and assess student progress, communicating regularly with parents to celebrate successes and discuss development.
What We're Looking For
A valid New York State Professional/Initial Teacher License.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Elementary Childhood Education or a related field.
Experience teaching elementary grade students.
Proven knowledge and application of the Science of Reading and New York State’s Next Generation Learning Standards.
Proficiency with educational software and using data to inform classroom instruction.
A strong foundation in classroom management and experience with differentiated instruction.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
