About the Role
At Allure of Walnut, we're seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Cook to join our Dietary Department. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious meals for our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals according to the menu
Follow recipes, diet orders, and physician-prescribed dietary requirements
Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness
Monitor food preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
Ensure all state, federal, health, and safety regulations are followed
Work as part of a team dedicated to providing excellent dining experiences for our residents
Requirements
Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and work assignments
Positive attitude and ability to interact respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors
General knowledge of long-term care dietary regulations is preferred
Passion for preparing quality meals with care
Position Details
Part-Time: Job hours are varied and may include weekends and holidays
