Tekwell has the expertise and tools required to repair, test, and install machinery, guaranteeing optimal efficiency and dependability, serving a wide range of electric motors from fractional horsepower to medium voltage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shop technicians and mechanics
• Assign jobs, prioritize workload, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Perform and oversee diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on motors and related systems
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and manufacturer standards
• Manage shop workflow, parts usage, and tool/equipment readiness
• rain, mentor, and support technicians in best practices and technical skills
• Communicate job status, estimates, and recommendations clearly with management and customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Enforce safety procedures and shop policies
• Assist with hiring, performance feedback, and continuous improvement of shop processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Prior leadership or shop supervision experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety rules, and work orders
• Solid understanding of shop operations, workflow, and quality control
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment and lead by example
