Material Handler Needed for a Manufacturing & Distribution Center in Hiram, GA

TRC Talent Solutions is actively seeking a Material Handler to join a well-established and growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Hiram, GA. This company is a leader in the production and delivery of package handling systems that support critical infrastructure in the Airline, Warehouse, and Parcel Delivery industries.

This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable client offering long-term career potential for motivated individuals.

Job Details:

  • Monday-Friday

  • 7AM-3:30PM

  • $17.50/hr

  • Temp to Hire

Job Duties:

  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations daily.

  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.

  • Report discrepancies in quantity, location, identification, incorrect or damaged material. Able to research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, finding the root causes for errors.

  • Researches misplaced or unaccounted for product.

  • Work with individuals and departments to resolve inventory issues in a timely manner.

  • Safely operate forklifts: reach truck, cherry picker & sit down (narrow aisle), pallet-jack, wrap machine, and tools to perform tasks.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.

  • Comfortable using a PC, experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, 2 years related inventory experience.

  • Basic mathematical skills
