Host Reservationist at Blooming Hill

Blooming Hill Farm is looking for a Host / Maitre D' to join our restaurant team. We are located on Route 208 between Monroe and Washingtonville. This a part time position and our main need is on weekends (but some weeknights will be available). The position pays up to 25$ per hour.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phones and booking reservations
• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome in the restaurant
• Seating guests at tables and brining menus
• Estimating wait time for guests during busy hours
• Clearing, setting tables & assisting serving when needed
• Working directly with the dining room managers to help control the door of the restaurant and get all guests seated & tables turned over in a timely fashion

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality such that you can greet guests entering the restaurant and manage seating them, or letting them know the wait time for tables effectively
• Ability to listen and communicate well with other team members
• Strong organizational skills and ability to use/learn a POS and reservation system
• Familiarity with RESY or other online reservation systems is a big plus (but not required)!

Wage

• Up to 25$/per hour based on experience.
• Opportunity to move up to a tipped server position eventually and make more.
