Insurance Commercial Lines Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and experienced in servicing commercial insurance accounts while building strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
%CF; Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
%CF; Prepare quotes, applications, renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
%CF; Review policies for accuracy and ensure appropriate coverage recommendations.
%CF; Respond promptly to client questions regarding coverage, billing, and claims.
%CF; Market new and renewal business with insurance carriers to obtain competitive coverage and pricing.
%CF; Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
%CF; Follow up on renewals and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products.
%CF; Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
%CF; Stay current on commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes.
%CF; Active California Property Casualty Insurance License (required).
%CF; 2+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred.
%CF; Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Property, Umbrella, and Business Owner Policies (BOP).
%CF; Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
%CF; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
%CF; Experience with agency management systems and carrier websites.
%CF; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
