RESPONSIBILITIES: Ship and receive rental equipment, perform inspections on equipment, and maintain the equipment and the facility yard.

• Load and unload equipment and attachments.
• Inspect equipment upon arrival from manufacturers and rental customers, take pictures, check for damages, and check fluids, complete EMR’s (Equipment Movement Records)
• Clean and Prep rental equipment - pressure wash, install attachments on machines, check fluids
• Organize the facility yard
• Clean Yard- sweep, weed, pick up trash.
• Clean Shop- sweep, empty trash, organize
• Assist technicians if needed - apprentice.
• Prepare new equipment - Perform manufacturer inspections, install decals, mirrors, etc.
• Perform basic services on machines.
• Review the facilities checklist and keep facilities looking good
• Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS (Skills, Technology, and Physical Requirements)

• Valid driver’s license and must meet General Liability driving requirements to operate a company vehicle when necessary.
• Ability to use electronic devices for inspections and to take pictures
• Good communicator
• Lift parts (10-100 lbs) regularly.
• Operation of the forklift is required
• Climbing stairs/ladders to gain access to equipment
• The position of Rental Prep Technician is classified as a safety-sensitive position.
