We are a family owned business that puts integrity, passion and pride into all of our client relationships.We offer local work, competitive weekly pay and benefits that includes free and low-cost medical plans, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k matching program, bonuses, incentives, and more!Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance inspections, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild components on PWS vehiclesUse diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and initiate or assign repairsPerform quality inspections of vehicles prior to returning to servicePerform service calls for emergency breakdownsAs a diesel mechanic, you will interact with operations staff to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a taskWork in accordance with all federal guidelines (i.e. safety, DOT, MOT)Qualifications:5+ years experience as a diesel mechanic or technician preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail oriented with priority projectsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform the physical requirements of the positionKnowledge of electrical schematics, hydraulics, welding, and diesel truck maintenanceCDL A or B is helpful, but not required for a diesel mechanicLegally eligible to work in the United States Must be at least 18 years of age to work as a diesel mechanic About Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc:Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. provides commercial and residential waste recovery systems, as well as at the customer site confidential document destruction.
