Job Description
Key Responsibilities
%CF; Prepare for service events by reviewing repair orders, gathering necessary
information, securing tools, and ensuring timely access to required parts.
%CF; Perform maintenance and repairs accurately and safely by following established
standards—conducting inspections, sourcing additional information or parts, managing
deviations, and returning unused or core parts.
%CF; Document work thoroughly by clearly describing completed repairs in the repair order,
clocking off appropriately, completing handovers when needed, and coordinating the
next job to maintain workflow.
%CF; Apply technical expertise in troubleshooting, repair methods, vehicle systems, and
proper tool usage to service International Truck and IC Bus products.
%CF; Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of International and IC Bus offerings, applying
this to align customer solutions with the company’s value proposition.
%CF; Promote safety and compliance by coaching on best practices, ensuring equipment is
maintained, and following all health and safety policies and regulations.
%CF; Mentor coworkers and apprentices through hands-on coaching, knowledge sharing,
and guidance to encourage skill growth and team success.
%CF; Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers to promote
understanding, build trust, and encourage collaboration.
%CF; Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining strong relationships,
understanding needs, and providing professional, timely support.

General Knowledge and Skills You Will Need
%CF; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of International and IC Bus products and services,
applying this understanding to daily tasks and aligning customer solutions with the
company’s overall value proposition.
%CF; Apply knowledge of International’s repair and maintenance procedures, including
troubleshooting techniques, technical vehicle systems, tools, and documentation, to
effectively service and repair International Truck and IC Bus products.
%CF; Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, leadership, and
customers to promote understanding, build trust, and encourage open dialogue.
%CF; Motivate and encourage team members to strive for excellence by fostering

Desired Education and Experience
%CF; Medium or heavy-duty technician, equivalent experience or qualification
%CF; Applicable certifications related to industry, products, and/or safety
%CF; Currently maintains or can obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
%CF; International Master Certified
