HireCare Services is hiring compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities in Charlottesville, VA and surrounding communities.

This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling, hands-on experience, and strong clinical support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Role Overview:

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills using structured teaching strategies and positive reinforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home-based settings

• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA

• Collect accurate behavioral data during sessions

• Communicate progress and observations to your clinical team

• Complete timely session notes and documentation

• Build positive and professional relationships with clients and families

• Follow ethical and professional ABA practices

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• RBT certification preferred but not required (training available)

Schedule:

• Part-time positions only

• Afternoon and after-school availability (Monday–Friday)

• Occasional weekend hours based on client needs

• Approximately 15–25 hours per week depending on availability

Compensation:

• $21–$26 per hour
