NEW JERSEY REAL ESTATE SALES MANAGER / BROKER
Job Description
Howard Hanna \u007C Rand Realty is seeking a driven, growth-oriented Broker Sales Manager to lead, coach, and expand our Jersey City office. This role is ideal for a licensed real estate professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for agent development, and a proven track record in sales performance.
The Broker Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring real estate agents while driving office productivity, culture, and profitability.
Agent Recruiting & Retention
- Proactively recruit experienced and new real estate agents to grow the office
- Conduct interviews, onboarding, and integration into company systems
- Develop retention strategies to maintain a strong and engaged salesforce
Sales Leadership & Coaching
- Provide one-on-one coaching to agents to improve production and performance
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops
- Assist agents with business planning, goal setting, and accountability
Transaction Support & Oversight
- Ensure compliance with all state and brokerage regulations
- Provide guidance on contracts, negotiations, and complex transactions
- Support agents from listing to closing to ensure smooth execution
Business Development
- Drive office revenue through increased agent productivity
- Identify local market opportunities and growth initiatives
- Build relationships within the Jersey City and surrounding markets
Culture & Office Management
- Foster a collaborative, energetic, and professional office environment
- Promote company tools, technology, and marketing platforms
- Uphold the brand standards and values of Howard Hanna
- Active New Jersey Real Estate Broker’s License (required)
- 3+ years of real estate sales experience (management experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to recruit and develop talent
- Knowledge of local Jersey City / Hudson County market preferred
- High level of professionalism, organization, and accountability
