Position Details
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Charleston, MO
- Pay Rate: $28.00–$31.00/hour DOE
- Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, lay out, fit, and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
- Prepare materials for welding and fabrication processes.
- Verify dimensions and ensure proper fit-up of components.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous fitting or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong knowledge of measuring tools, layout techniques, and metal fitting practices.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Strong commitment to safety, attendance, and productivity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
